This App is great for the beginner.

Just get going, the rest will follow.

The only hurdle in this app is making it a habit. The weight loss and health benefits are automatic.

Running made easy!

Granted Im only on my first week but its been a breeze! I work out but I dont do any cardio. This is a really easy way to get my cardio in!

Great plan

Really enjoy C25K. Wife and both use. Before back injury, got up to 10k and lost 60lbs. Started again and look forward to getting back to where I was. Be nice if it synced to my fitness pal and allowed you to control pandora from app. Otherwise great program.

Easy to use

I love this app its easy to see on my phone and use Ive been training on the treadmill it has a GPS feature but I havent gotten into that Im not running outside yet until spring but Im loving the easy read shows you where you been what youre doing now and where youre headed.

Great combo of structure and flexibility

I love the way the program sets up your workouts so that you gradually build up and therefore avoid getting frustrated or injured. It takes the guesswork out of increasing your fitness. By the same token, if you notice that your body is telling you youre overdoing it, you can always go backward in the progression and build up more slowly. Great balance between a structure that pushes you to move forward, but the ability to listen to your body so that you dont overdo it! My only complaint would be that sometimes the voice cues repeat. Certainly not a big deal, but it is a little annoying.

Eliminate the start fail start fail cycle

I ran in high school but fizzled out by the end of college. Id started running multiple times over the twenty years since then but always had to quit after a few months due to nagging pains or just not feeling good while running. The C25K program changes that for me and Ive been running and enjoying it consistently now for 19 months. This app makes it practical and convenient. Id started with two stopwatches and my DIY attitude but all the tracking prevented me from focusing on the run. I wholly recommend this app even if your not a complete couch potato.

Beneficial training tool for beginners!

A friend recommended this app to me because I mentioned to her I wanted to train for a 5K and needed a structured program to ease back into running. My friend, who had never been a runner in her life, recently completed her first 5K in under 30 minutes. This has helped motivate me and has provided a structure to ensure that I avoiding injuries as Im easing back into running.
